Greater Yellowlegs - Tringa melanoleuca
Somewhat common and obviously on the tame side, these guys are among my favorite shore birds. This little fella came up to me quite close, maybe 25 feet away. Found at a new spot for me, Kent Ponds (man-made and it appears somehow stocked with tiny fish). You'll see why they got their name shortly. (A pair of them allowed me 144 shots...I'll share three)
