Birding List now up to 197 species
Great Adventure at St. Paul Island, Alaska. Found 22 new to me species of birds, watched Fur Seals, Artic Fox and even saw a herd of Reindeer (from a great distance). It was cold and either cloudy or foggy for all but one day of the trip, but even with the cold - it was a GRAND tour for me and hugely recommended to anyone with an interest in nature. Fair warning - not for the faint hearted, but an adventure well worth the time and experiences. The guides were knowledgable and interesting to learn from, the accommodations were well, minimal, but acceptable (oh, but the food, very, very good!)
And then there are the birds....please forgive me while I go wild with new photos. No promises on repeat species, I'll just try to limit myself to the best shots. It's going to take me several weeks, so many, many more photos to come.
Enjoy!
